1. Ability of a product or service to satisfy needs.
2. The structure of a fabric, often denoted by a unique name or a number.
3. A comparison of one product with others. e.g. A higher quality fabric will have higher weight per unit area.
The measures put in place to ensure that a product or service achieves the stated requirements.
The actions and activities which are used to monitor quality. Most of these take place in the Testing Department, although some take place at the work-station (finishing, back-coating, weaving.)
