The celebration of the 150th Anniversary of the incorporation of John Holdsworth & Co Ltd, buffet and dance held at the Halifax Civic Theatre, 25 November 1972 About 500 guests attended including the Mayor and Mayoress of Halifax, Ald. Maurice Jagger, JP and Mrs Jagger, and Mr Norman Ashton, president of Halifax and District Chamber of Commerce, and Mrs Ashton. The Mayor congratulated the firm on its achievement and the chairman of the company, Mrs Dina Maria Holdsworth replied.
