A Calderdale woman is weaving her plans for the future since retiring after 25 years at a textile company.
Mrs Rosemary Lord, 64, of Park Avenue, Elland, started Work at John Holdsworth & Company Limited,
at Shaw Lodge Mills, Halifax, in the dispatch department.
And after working her way up to sales order clerk she has left her friends and colleagues and is spending more time with her family.
Mrs Lord now sees her husband, Willie, 64, who is also retired, more often, as well as her children and grandchildren.
Originally from Middlesex, she moved to Calderdale in 1966 after meeting Willie in the Navy in the late 50s.
The couple have three daughters, Christine and twins Gillian and Teresa, who each have a daughter and a son.
Mrs Lord also plans to do lots of walking and charting her family tree.
"I have always loved my job. Sometimes things have been difficult but we have all worked as a team
and done the job that needs to be done," she said.
"I'll miss the friends I have made, but I'm looking forward to retiring because I have done my stint."
Chairman Mrs. Dina M. Holdsworth presented Rosemary Lord with retirement gifts, including a clock, wine glasses, a canteen of cutlery and a cut-glass bowl.
